As in the first round, the former mayor of Strasbourg and a former minister of Culture Catherine Trautmann finished third, with 23.2% of the vote, according to these same estimates.

"The scale and sharpness of the victory is surprising," commented hot-the political scientist of the locals, Richard Kleinschmager.
