Iberdrola has announced the filing with the Courts of Bilbao, a new criminal complaint for a crime of falsehood against Jose Antonio Del Olmo as the alleged author of the Report published in El confidencial the past few days on 2 and 3 December. Del Olmo, who had held the post of director of Corporate Functions within the Directorate of General Administration and Corporation, involving the management of the company in the recruitment of the commissioner retired Jose Manuel Villarejo to work in espionage.

After an internal investigation that has been carried out by the Compliance Unit, the document has not been located in the files of the company, according to the company that presides over Ignacio Sánchez Galán. The company ensures that its alleged author "has not collaborated at no time in the elucidation of the facts, despite having been requested on several occasions to do so, has not recognized neither their writing nor their issuance, and their potential receptors, as they have declared to the said unit, nor have had knowledge of the same and, if any had, they would have taken the appropriate action".

The report includes an expert opinion that it has detected apparent inconsistencies in their pages, not ruling out that this could be the subject of any kind of composition, added to the statement of Iberdrola.

This complaint is in addition to the already brought against Jose Antonio del Olmo for libel and slander, serious, committed with publicity by Pablo Insunza Gaminde last December 19, 2019. Olmo is accused of being the author of a purported internal report that accuses the management of the company in order espionajes and use of false invoices and that the company is not aware of any in your files. For this reason, the attorneys of Iberdrola sent a letter to the anti-Corruption Office in Madrid, requesting the opening of proceedings against The Elm for crimes arising out of the investigation of the prosecutor, but that the company believes are likely to be qualified as misrepresentation documentary, libel and slander

Iberdrola has also been reported that Jose Antonio of the Elm has been called to testify on status of witness to the Central Court of Instruction number 6 of the National Audience. In this situation, the company wants to state that it shall exercise all those legal actions of that declaration to shed in order to safeguard their reputation and good name.
