"Balu und Du" in Freising in a new round: the project young adult children for a year - will accompany a win-win for both sides.

Freising – Especially in difficult times, children need a great friend or a great friend: The established since 2017 in Freising, Federal-wide Mentoring programme "Balu and Du" is looking for new Balus – in compliance with all safety and hygiene requirements, of course!

About the project: Young volunteer adults take as "Balus" in an individual sponsorship for a year every week for a child of primary school age, will be proposed by teaching staff. According to the model of the famous Duo from the jungle book – a calm and clever bear and the inexperienced Mowgli – the two decide to spend regularly a bit of time with each other. Once a week one to three hours should belong solely to the child: play a Board game, together, ride a bike, bake a cake, or simply Freising to explore.

Both "Balu" as well as "Mowgli" are insured in their activities, liability and accident. You get some pocket money and have trained supervisors in the Background that you can use, where appropriate, with advice and act to the side.
