Maria Dolores de Cospedal, former minister of Defense, former president of the Junta of Castilla-La Mancha, exsecretaria general of the PP and exaspirante to presidirlo in conflict with Paul Married and Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, has joined the law firm CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo. Away from the politics as from the end of 2018, Cospedal, a lawyer of the State, returns to the private company in an office where she will lead a team dedicated to the civil and mercantile procedural law, among other topics.

As reported by the firm, the board of directors of CMS has approved by unanimity to incorporate Cospedal as "main partner" in the Department of Litigation and Arbitration, where "perform functions of coordination of a multidisciplinary team composed of 27 lawyers who will work in the field of civil and commercial procedural law, bankruptcy, criminal, economic and administrative, in addition to securities litigation, among others", says the note sent out by the firm.
