"I have deep sorrow to announce to you that the Prime minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly, the head of the government, left us in early this afternoon after having taken part in the council of ministers" said Patrick Achi, reading a statement from president Alassane Ouattara at the public television. Amadou Gon Coulibaly had returned last Thursday from France after two months of hospitalization for heart problems. According to the first information published in the local press, he would have been a malaise at a meeting of the council of ministers. He died after being evacuated to the polyclinic of Pisa.
