Take a deep breath in Berlin's political life: the state shipping company Cosco, a group controlled by the Chinese government, is only allowed to take over 24.9 percent instead of the desired 35 percent at the Hamburg port terminal in Tollerort. The responsible ministries have apparently agreed on this. Tollerot is majority owned by the city of Hamburg. The politicians hope that China will not be able to exert any influence on the content of the management due to the minority stake.
