My father feels threatened. He sees wild beasts and evil people where there are none. That's why he can't fall asleep, wanders around, screams, trembles - and when he does sleep, nightmares wake him up. First sleep disorders started in 2014. In 2020 his condition worsened and for a year now we have finally known why: he suffers from a special form of dementia. Since then he has been under neurological treatment, but no medication has helped so far.
