Valencia is preparing to live this Friday, June 24, a new festive day on the occasion of the commemoration of San Juan, a day included as paid and non-recoverable in the 2022 work calendar. A date that, in addition, will serve to start the first bridge of the summer for the Valencians.

After jumping waves and bonfires during the Night of San Juan 2022, the citizens of the Turia capital will be able to enjoy a festive day of an autonomous nature, which will be added to the weekend to link three days without having to go to work.

Thus, one of the main doubts that arise before preparing trips or simply spending the holidays is to know what is open and what is closed in Valencia during this Friday, June 24 for Saint John.

For example, the Mercadona and Consum supermarkets will remain inactive this day, although regarding the Valencian cooperative it will open in some coastal towns.

On the other hand, other supermarkets and hypermarkets such as Carrefour, El Corte Inglés and Día will open their doors this Friday, June 24, while Lidl will not raise its shutters. Likewise, different shopping centers and department stores in the city will remain open to offer all their services.
