The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for Florida as the Atlantic Hurricane Season gets underway. This includes West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami.

"As per the latest advisory, Tropical Storm Warnings now apply for all of South Florida," National Weather Service Miami stated on Twitter Friday morning.

Expect tropical storm conditions Friday night and Saturday with heavy rain in South Florida, Central Florida, and the Florida Keys.

According to the National Weather Service, flash flooding can occur in South Florida and Keys.
