The SSC Palmberg Schwerin women's volleyball team kept their chance of reaching the semi-finals of the CEV Cup. Although the third-placed Bundesliga player lost in the first leg of the playoff quarter-finals on Wednesday evening at Italian top club Scandicci 2: 3 (21:25, 21:25, 26:24, 25:16, 11:15), he managed to win with the two Sentences but a good starting position for the second leg in a week. In this, a 3-1 victory would be enough for the SSC to progress.

And then they won the fourth round surprisingly well. In the tie-break, Scandicci was the better team again in the final phase and still made the victory perfect.
