The constitutionalist party Valents continues with its policy of incorporation. This morning, in Lleida, Valents has presented the incorporation of Javier Rivas, the former deputy for Citizens in the Parliament of Catalonia and councilor in the City of Vielha.

Javier Rivas has highlighted that «Valents has to be the catalyst for all constitutionalism in Catalonia. One of my priorities has always been to structure Catalonia." Rivas has also highlighted that «Lérida is the largest province in terms of area, but the smallest in terms of population. This does not mean that we deserve fewer services than the rest of Catalans; Catalans who live in the countryside of Lérida want the same services that they have in the big cities».

Eva Parera, president of Valents, thanked Javier for joining the Valents project and stressed that “more and more people are joining Valents every day.

In recent weeks we have presented the constitution of different local boards throughout Catalonia, something that we will continue to do this week in Sant Cugat and Sitges, as well as in other municipalities shortly, also in the Province of Lérida».

Javier Rivas was born in Madrid in December 1965. He has been part of the National Alpine Ski Team and has been a national ski coach. He has been a consultant for the development of ski resorts and leisure environments. He has been a councilor of the Viella City Council and a deputy in Parliament in the XI and XII legislature.
