The commitment of the former real star Isco by Bundesliga soccer club Union Berlin is apparently close to completion.

As reported by the "Bild" newspaper, the currently unemployed midfielder arrived in Berlin on Tuesday morning for a medical check-up.

According to media reports, the five-time Champions League winner should get a contract with the Bundesliga runners-up until the end of June 2024 with an option for another year. The club did not officially comment on the speculation. For the Köpenickers, the transfer of the 30-year-old would be a surprising coup.
