TotalEnergies announces a rebate of 10 cents per liter of fuel on motorways this summer

Faced with the violent increases in fuel prices in recent months, the CEO of Total Energies, Patrick Pouyanné, announces a new “special summer” discount for motorists. This measure should come into force from July until the end of August.

“In particular, we will help holidaymakers who will be traveling this summer for holidays with a ten cent discount on all TotalEnergies stations located on French motorways”, explains the CEO of the energy group to La Dépêche du Midi. The exact dates of this offer are not yet known.

Such a measure already exists in all stations of the Total network and must continue until May 15. "This device is called to stop as planned," confirms the oil group to La Dépêche. This new aid will be added to the 18 cents discount that the State has granted for four months on a liter of fuel until the end of July 2022. At the pump, thanks to this discount of 18 cents "including tax", customers of France benefit until July 31 from a discount of 11 euros for a full tank of 60 litres. Not to mention network promotions, such as Carrefour, Leclerc or Casino.
