At least 20 people were involved in a maxi brawl that took place in a reception room in San Vito dei Normanni (Brindisi) last Sunday. Three were arrested on various charges of aggravated brawl, negligent injury and resistance to a public official.

According to the reconstruction of the police, the quarrel which then degenerated into violence took place between two groups of people who were celebrating, separately, a communion and a confirmation.

During lunch they began to insult each other and then beat each other, even throwing plates and cutlery. Not even the arrival of the police has served to appease the spirits.
