To wrap up the draft class, Chargers sign JT. Woods

The Chargers currently have the entire draft class for 2022 under contract.

JT Woods, third-round safety, was the only player not signed heading into the week. Monday's NFL Transaction Report showed that Woods has agreed to his four-year contract with the team.

Woods was a Baylor four-year contributor, and a two-year starter before being picked by the Chargers. Woods tied for the FBS record with six interceptions in 2021 and recorded 57 tackles his last season with the Bears.

The AFC West team's starting safetyties are back in Nasir Adderley and Derwin James. Woods joins Alohi Gilman, 2020 sixth-round pick, and Mark Webb (2021 seventh-rounder) as the leading depth options.
