A wrong-way driver caused a serious accident on Autobahn 38 in Thuringia, killing at least three people. As the police in Hermsdorf announced on Tuesday, the car with a German license plate drove from a parking lot in the wrong direction onto the autobahn. After about three kilometers he collided with an oncoming car.

The wrong-way driver and at least two occupants of the other car died, according to the police. This car was so damaged that the fire department had to cut out the victims.
