The opening this week of the new Line 10 of Metrovalencia (Alicante-Nazareth) has meant the expansion of the network of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) in the province of Valencia in five kilometers, the distance of the new route from the street Alicante , in the city center, to Nazareth, in the Maritime District.

With these figures, the Metrovalencia network reaches 161,418 kilometers in its six usual metro lines and the now four tram lines.

The number of stations and stops on the network has also been logically increased with the commissioning of Line 10. In this way, we must add eight new facilities on the tram of Metrovalencia, those of Alicante, Russafa, Amado Granell / Montolivet, Quatre Carreras, Ciutat Arts i Ciències / Justícia, Oceanogràfic, Moreras y Nazaret.

Currently, there are 146 metro stations and tram stops, of which 95 are metro and 51 tram. Of those 146, a total of 38 are underground and 108 on the surface.

Regarding rolling stock, Metrovalencia currently has 108 units, 62 Stadler meters from the 4,300 series and 46 trams (24 Siemens from the 3,800 series and 22 Bombardier-Alstom from the 4,200 series).

The number of municipalities served by Metrovalencia is still 36, since all the stops on Line 10 are in the capital Valencia. These are Valencia, Picanya, Paiporta, Godella, Rocafort, Almàssera, Meliana, Foios, Albalat dels Sorells, Museros, Massamagrell, La Pobla de Farnals, Rafelbunyol, Alboraya, Mislata, Quart de Poblet, Moncada, Torrent, Manises, Picassent, Burjassot , Paterna, Castellón, Alberic, Massalavés, L'Alcúdia, Benimodo, Carlet, Alginet, Benifaió, Llíria, Benaguasil, La Pobla de Vallbona, L'Eliana, Bétera and Riba-roja de Túria.
