Section 3 of the Provincial Court of Valencia judges this Monday a man accused of sexually assaulting his minor granddaughter for years. The events began in 2018, when the victim was nine years old and was cared for by the grandparents at their home during the father's working day.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the defendant took advantage of the grandmother's absences to subject the girl to touching, telling her that what she was doing was a game.

When the victim turned eleven, she realized that they were not playing and told the accused that she was going to tell her parents, to which the man reacted by threatening to hit and mistreat her brother.

According to the information provided by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, from that moment on, the man forced the minor to masturbate him and practiced other sexual acts with her.

The girl recounted the events in June 2021. The Prosecutor's Office asks for a fifteen-year prison sentence for the man for a continued crime against the sexual freedom of a minor under sixteen.
