Moments of panic that have been experienced this Friday at noon in the Valencian town of Chirivella, located in the metropolitan area of ​​the capital of Turia. The National Police investigates a shooting between several people with firearms, of which there are no injuries or detainees.

The events occurred around 1:30 p.m., in broad daylight this Friday, May 27, and for which the security forces have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the confrontation and identify the people involved.

No arrest has been made in relation to these events, according to the same sources. Everything seems to indicate that it is a confrontation between members of two families who live in this town adjoining Valencia.

Different patrols of the Local and National Police have urgently attended the scene, where a man fired multiple shots from his vehicle in the vicinity of the San Francisco de Paula church, whose bullets hit the facade of a building.

According to the newspaper "Las Provincias", the author of the shooting, who has fled with his vehicle, was trying to avenge an attack that his son had suffered hours before.
