The Local Police of Elda (Alicante) has found the man with senile dementia missing since the beginning of this week in that same town dead, as reported by the '112CV' Emergency Coordination Center through its social networks.

The center received on Tuesday, June 7, the search notice in the Alicante municipality of a 59-year-old man. A canine unit, two members of the Terrestrial Rescue Group and a drone unit of the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium were mobilized.

In the afternoon, the displaced troops expanded the search area and a helicopter from the consortium joined the location tasks.

The search efforts resumed the next day, on Wednesday, June 8, around 10:00 a.m., with a drone unit from the Provincial Firefighters Consortium, an officer and two rescuers with a canine unit.

The Red Cross also participated in the search. Finally, the missing person was found dead this Friday around 9:30 p.m.
