January 2018. A National Police agent asks two colleagues for help. He explains to them that he is investigating a "dangerous person", whom he is going to arrest, so he needs to check his background. So far, a common request, but it turned out that said investigated was not a suspect, but the current partner of his former sentimental partner.

Without knowing it, the uniformed men accessed the man's data in the police system and provided it to his partner, who used the information to spread rumors about him among the residents of Hostalets de Pierola (Barcelona). Such was the repercussion of the hoax, that the affected had to move from town.

The agent will sit on the bench of the Barcelona Court on May 24.

The Prosecutor's Office asks for four years in prison for a crime of discovery and revelation of secrets. He also a fine of 7,200 euros, as well as the absolute disqualification to exercise public functions for six years.
