The Valencian Community has reported since Tuesday a total of 3,109 new cases of coronavirus and 19 deaths, according to the latest update from the Ministry of Health.

The new cases by province are 306 in Castellón (177,658 in total), 1,075 in Alicante (496,831 in total) and 1,726 in Valencia (774,043 in total), in addition to two unassigned cases. Of these, 1,348 are from people over sixty years of age. By provinces: 171 from Castellón, 477 from Alicante and 698 from Valencia and 2 unassigned cases.

Valencian hospitals currently have 602 people admitted, 36 of them in the ICU: 97 in the province of Castellón, 1 in the ICU; 205 in the province of Alicante, 16 of them in the ICU; and 300 in the province of Valencia, 19 in the ICU.

Likewise, 19 deaths from coronavirus have been reported since the last update, with a date of death in the last 15 days except for two of them, which correspond to four women, between 87 and 91 years old, and 15 men, between 70 and 95. years.

In this way, the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 9,464: 1,109 in the province of Castellón, 3,597 in Alicante and 4,758 in Valencia.

The incidence rate in people over sixty years of age has dropped another 44.92 points since Tuesday to stand at 404.95 per 100,000 inhabitants in the Valencian Community, and remains below the national average, which drops to 578.39 cases , according to the update of the Ministry of Health.
