Two minors have been slightly injured this Saturday when a stand of the Juan Carlos Verdú Wooden Pavilion collapsed in the Alicante town of Elda, according to health sources and the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium.

Two pillars of the building located on Las Olimpiadas avenue have given way, which has caused the collapse of the stands, in which there were about 20 girls and some adults.

Although no person has been trapped, the Provincial Firefighters Consortium has confirmed that two people have been slightly injured and have been treated by the health services. These are two minors who have been transferred to the Elda hospital, health sources have specified

After the evacuation of the pavilion by the firefighters, the action has been made available to the technical services of the Elda City Council.

To the scene of the event, the Provincial Firefighters Consortium has transferred a headquarters command unit, a several rescue van, a heavy urban bomb, a sergeant, a corporal and four firefighters from the Elda park.
