After two years of pandemic in which the lack of romantic plans has been able to cool love, next June 25 an ideal event will be held again for those looking to rekindle the flame. Spending an evening in a small town as if taken from other times is the proposal of La Noche Romantica organized by the association 'The Most Beautiful Towns in Spain', in which love, heritage, history and folklore merge with the beauty of the small towns where the event comes to life.
This year Chinchón and Nuevo Baztán are the Madrid representatives in the Romantic Night, an annual international event that is celebrated on the Saturday closest to the summer solstice in a coordinated manner in municipalities throughout Spain, as well as in various locations in France, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
«The most beautiful towns in Europe celebrate again for the sixth consecutive year a festival that has love as the maximum exponent and that involves the entire town in its staging, with a program adapted to the preferences and traditions of each municipality» says Francisco Mestre, the president of this association that emulates the French model 'Les Plus Beaux Villages de France' and is part of the Federation of the Most Beautiful Villages in the World.
Those who want to enjoy this passionate day only have to look for accommodation in Chinchón or Nuevo Baztán, because the rest is provided by its inhabitants and the invited artists, with a unique program of events and initiatives where visitors can enjoy dinners in the light of the candles, guided tours of the squares, palaces and streets of the towns, exhibitions, installations, poetry recitals, theatrical performances, lots of music and dance, all highlighted by the beauty of the small municipalities that host them, where, in addition, the hotels and restaurants will offer promotions and special gastronomic dishes to the delight of residents and visitors.
The culminating moment of 'Romantic Night' will come at midnight, when the 'simultaneous kiss' takes place (suspended for the last two years for obvious reasons), in which the attendees merge into a kiss full of love (well be with your partner, friends, family, pets, etc), and simultaneously in countless towns in Spain.
In addition, as we live in the era of images and social networks, the towns that celebrate 'La Noche Romántica' will have special photocalls for the occasion where they can immortalize the experience. The association 'The Most Beautiful Towns in Spain' will hold a contest through Instagram in which there will be two prizes, the first awarded by the organization's jury to the best photograph and the second to the one that receives the most 'likes' .
