The Prosecutor's Office considers that the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community is "competent for the investigation and, where appropriate, prosecution" of the Vice President of the Generalitat, Mónica Oltra, upon finding "relevant evidence" in the management she made of the abuse of her ex-husband to a minor under guardianship.

For this reason, in a letter addressed to the high court, the Public Ministry requests that "as many steps as necessary be carried out to complete the investigation of the facts and determine the degree of participation of the appraised person," sources from the Public Ministry have reported in a statement, referring to her status as regional deputy.

Regarding the thirteen investigated -among political positions and officials of the Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies directed by Oltra- in an open case for alleged cover-up, the Prosecutor's Office indicates that "at a later time it will be assessed whether the competence should be assumed."
