The program 'La Banda en tu barrio' begins in the Albacete Tree Festival park

The mayor of Albacete, Emilio Sáez, has attended this Thursday, in the Tree Festival Park, the first of the concerts of 'La Banda en tu barrio', a program launched by the City Council, the Municipal Symphonic Band of Albacete (BSMA) and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Albacete (FAVA).

The mayor of Albacete, Emilio Sáez, has attended this Thursday, in the Tree Festival Park, the first of the concerts of 'La Banda en tu barrio', a program launched by the City Council, the Municipal Symphonic Band of Albacete (BSMA) and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Albacete (FAVA).

The mayor and councilor of the BSMA, Emilio Sáez, wanted to show in this way the City Council's commitment to bringing culture to all corners of the municipality with a cycle of concerts, which is now in its third edition, thanking the collaboration and professionalism of the director of the Symphonic Band, Miguel Vidagany, and all its members.

Emilio Sáez recalled that the performances will last until October, offering a varied program, with music of different styles, periods and authors, with concerts for all audiences and lasting 50 minutes.

The mayor has indicated that the program will take the music of the BSMA to neighborhoods and districts in which, to date, the teachers had not performed, «and this Tree Festival Park has been chosen for the opening because it has become a point of reference for our city, by opening the deposits as a viewpoint and as the Albacete Water Interpretation Center (CIAb), in addition to being the neighborhood center of San Pablo».

This first concert by La Banda in your neighborhood was also attended by the Councilor for Barrios and Pedanías, Ana Albaladejo; the Councilor for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Laura Avellaneda, and the Councilor for Education and Urban Mobility, José González, among other members of the Corporation.
