The PP intends to take the EvAU Mathematics exam to the Cortes of Castilla-La Mancha

The president of the PP and leader of the opposition of Castilla-La Mancha, Paco Núñez, has announced that his parliamentary group has formally registered the request for the appearance of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports in the Autonomous Courts to give explanations about the exam of Mathematics II of the University Entrance Assessment (EvAU), which students say was very, very difficult and "riddled with errors".

Núñez explains that the intention is "to see how the Board has established the procedure has been", since "the responsibility lies with the Ministry of Education, which is the one who signs the decrees and who supervises". "We believe that what is legitimate, transparent and what gives security to the prestige of the university is for the Government to appear in parliament and be able to explain how this procedure has been," he stated.

"What offers guarantee and security for the students and for the prestige of the University is that the person responsible for this procedure appears in the Regional Courts and explains how this procedure has been and in what circumstances it is found," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the secretary of Organization and number two of the PSOE of Castilla-La Mancha, Sergio Gutiérrez, believes that Núñez "has said the fool of the day blaming Page for putting a Selectivity exam." As reported in a press release by the PSOE, Gutiérrez demands "seriousness" from Núñez for his "populist" position, which contrasts with the empathy and "sensitivity" that the Rectorate of the University has shown from the first moment.
