The Supreme Court already has the resignation of the PP to appeal the sentence that condemned the formation as subsidiary civil liability for paying with black money the reform of the headquarters of Genoa 13. "Following express instructions of my principal" - indicates the letter to which he has had access to ABC- «I have come to withdraw the appeal filed on behalf of the Popular Party».

In that appeal, the PP requested the acquittal of the former treasurer of the formation, Luis Bárcenas, understanding that the crime of tax fraud that was imposed on him was already prescribed when he was charged in the National Court. If the ex-treasurer was exonerated, so was the formation, since without a crime there would be no consequent responsibility.

After the letter was publicly known yesterday, the Feijóo PP rectified and announced that it was going to withdraw the appeal that Casado presented.
