In the final phase of the Taekwondo regional championship for school age organized by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha through the program "Somos deporte 3-18", held in the sports pavilion of the Albacete Fair, it has been proclaimed champion Club Deportivo ITAE Albacete. Previously, three days were held in the towns of Las Predroñeras (Cuenca), Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real) and Alovera (Guadalajara), in which the iTae Sports Club of this city of Albacete had already obtained great results.

In said final of the past, the ITAE Albacete Sports Club participated with a total of 24 taekwondists in the modalities of Poomsae, individual technique, couple and trio, obtaining a total of 23 medals divided into 12 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze.

In the Kyorugui combat modality, 5 competitors participated, obtaining five medals, 3 gold and 2 silver. Four judges belonging to the arbitration section of the club also collaborated in the event.

Club Deportivo iTae ratified that in the few more than three years that it has been in existence, it has become the benchmark for taekwondo in Albacete, presenting its small champions, who knew how to face and overcome conditions and setbacks, achieving the individual and team objectives that They were raised at the beginning of the season.

The representatives of Club Deportivo iTae expressed at the end of the championship their gratitude to the Junta de Castilla La Mancha and the Albacete City Council for promoting this sport and good habits in school age, which was the main objective of this event.
