The third edition of the ISDE Sports Convention (ISC), the international congress organized by the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) in collaboration with LaLiga and the Madrid City Council, will make Madrid the world capital of sports industry and sports law this Friday, from 8:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., in the Cecilio Rodríguez Gardens of El Retiro Park.

Aimed at senior representatives and managers of sports law companies, Marketing and Communication directors and, among others, students specializing in sports law, ISC 2022 will analyze the application of good governance in sports entities, the new social levers in sport , the promotion of women's sports, sustainability and, among other issues, the digitalization process accelerated by the global pandemic.

Organized in the hybrid mode, face-to-face and via streaming, the ISC 2022 is being held in a year in which the Beijing Winter Olympics have been held and in which Qatar will host the first World Cup in autumn, as well as Madrid the world epicenter of sport with the celebration of the World Capital of Sport.

The ISC 2022 will complete the extensive calendar of events that will make Madrid the point of reference for international sport this year, together with others as outstanding as the Mutua Madrid Open for tennis, the Longines Global Champions Tour for equestrian, the Open de España de golf, the Madrid Marathon or, among others, the San Silvestre Vallecana.

The presidents of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, and the Spanish Sports Association (ADESP), José Hidalgo; the president of the National Hearing, Jose Ramon Navarro; the secretary general of the Superior Council of Sports (SCSD), Pablo Castillo; the vice-president of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and president of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM), Francisco Blázquez, and the sports director of the COE, Ricardo Leiva, figure in the prominent list of speakers.

The directors of the Marca newspapers, Juan Ignacio Gallardo; and As, Vicente Jiménez; the sports director of the Efe agency, Luis Villarejo, and the deputy director of Mundo Deportivo, Cristina Cubero, will analyze the challenge facing the press in its digital transformation process.

The award ceremony will be attended by Sofía Miranda Esteban, head of the Madrid City Council Sports Area, and, among others, Alberto Tomé González, Deputy Minister of Sports of the Community of Madrid.
