'The impossible work' by Paganini arrives at the Forum Evolución Burgos auditorium

After passing through the Chamber Hall of the National Auditorium in Madrid last Saturday, this Sunday, May 22, the group Paganini Ensemble Vienna, the only group that has been able to record, in the entire history, the 15 works by the Italian composer for string quartet and guitar.

Paganini has gone down in history for his technical virtuosity and complex melodies. The Austro-Bulgarian violinist Mario Hossen, founder and 'alma mater' of the Paganini Ensemble Vienna, is considered one of the best performers of the Italian composer's work. He has spent more than two decades studying and deciphering the 'Paganini method' thanks to exclusive access to the original scores, owned by the Foundation that bears the musician's name.

Together with Hossen and his Guadagnini violin, a musical gem from 1749, loaned for all his concerts by the Austrian National Bank, a cello (Liliana Kehayova), a viola (Marta Potulska) and a guitar will take to the stage of the auditorium, that of Alexander Swete, one of the best guitarists in Austria.

Almost two centuries later, the virtuoso violinist Mario Hossen manages to revive the work of the prodigious Italian genius about to celebrate the 182nd anniversary of his death (May 27), sources from the organization said in a statement.
