Marcos, Lucía and Arturo, who make up the IES 'Consaburum' team in the Toledo town of Consuegra, have been the winners of CMMedia's 'I am the one who knows the most about the region' contest, after beating Virginia, Ángel and Alba of the IES 'Jorge Manrique'.

The Consaburense center won the prize of 5,000 euros and 'El Ídolo de Chillarón', a trophy that makes them the winners of the first edition of this "educational event with great audience acceptance".

And it is that, as reported in a CMMedia press release, the final broadcast last night registered a 6.9% audience with a high percentage under 24 years.

Presented by Frank Blanco and Aurora González, ten educational centers have participated throughout eight programs in 'I am the one who knows the most about the region', solving a series of tests and general culture questions about Castilla-La Mancha.

This initiative is framed in the celebration this year of the 40th anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of the region, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.

One of the novelties of this contest has been the launch of the CMM channel on Twich.
