The umpteenth sporting failure of Hércules, which will continue another season in the fourth category of Spanish football, has again mobilized its social mass and this coming Sunday a demonstration has been called through the heart of Alicante to cry out for the departure of the owner Enrique Ortiz.

The group “Unidad Herculana” already brought together some 1,500 followers just a year ago through the streets of the center and has now received the go-ahead from the Government Subdelegation to repeat the appointment. The protest will start at 11:00 a.m. from the Plaza de los Luceros and will end at the gates of the Town Hall, the two most significant enclaves for the Herculaneums and where successes were celebrated that have not arrived for too many years.

Since Hercules rose to the First Division in 2010 (wrapped in accusations of match-fixing), all have been more or less resounding failures. The situation now is especially dramatic after having fallen at the first change in the promotion promotion to First RFEF.

Enrique Ortiz still has no intention of putting the Hércules up for sale and is looking for partners to accompany him. The businessman designs the umpteenth sports revolution, with a change in the presidency included, but the fans can't take it anymore and demand his departure. This Sunday he will take to the streets again, waiting for some political movement and with the hope that this time the protests will make Ortiz see that his time has passed.
