When she came to the clinic a few days later, she told her story: she had suffered from pain in her lower abdomen since she was young. They were mostly dull, sometimes throbbing or stabbing. More left than right. Over time they got stronger. During her menstruation, the woman was regularly on sick leave for three to four days.
