The Board of Directors of the College of Physicians of Toledo (COM) has sent a circular to the members informing of the acts planned to commemorate the patron saint of doctors, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, which this year is brought forward to the evening of Friday 17 June.
After these last two years in which it has not been possible to celebrate due to the pandemic, the Board of Directors of the Toledo Medical Association invites the members to participate in the events that have been organized for next June 17 (Friday ) to commemorate the festivity of the Patron Saint of doctors “Our Lady of Perpetual Help”. A party that is celebrated on June 27, but this year it is brought forward due to scheduling problems of the spaces that can host the event with the necessary security measures and capacity.
Thus, in the program designed for the occasion, a mass is convened at 8:30 p.m. in the hermitage of the Angel Custodio (Cigarral del Ángel) in Toledo, to remember the deceased companions in this last year. Then, at 9:30 p.m., in the Cigarral del Ángel de Toledo (Carretera de la Puebla de Montalbán, s/n), the traditional fellowship dinner will be held for the festivity of the Patron Saint 2022, to which in recent years more than 500 people have attended. At the end of it, a raffle of gifts will take place among the attendees, by various collaborating entities. And finally, a great musical evening.
In addition, on this occasion, the COM Toledo once again convenes its traditional photographic contest that reaches the XVII edition, with a free theme and in which all the collegiate members of the province can participate, except for the members of the Board of Directors, with a maximum of three unpublished works and with the characteristics collected in the specific bases of the contest. There will be a prize and two second prizes that will be awarded during the patron saint's celebration dinner.
The Toledo College of Physicians recovers in this way the employer acts that also entail the publication of the annual report-magazine that shows the x-ray of the activities carried out in the last year.
