The CNMV lifts the suspension of Siemens Gamesa listing after confirming its parent company that it is considering an offer

MADRID, 18 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) has agreed to lift, with effect from 10:30 a.m. this Wednesday, the precautionary suspension, agreed approximately one hour before, of the trading of Siemens Gamesa securities after having been made available to the public in the Governing Societies of the Stock Exchanges and in the CNMV itself "sufficient information" of the circumstances that advised the adoption of the suspension agreement.

Siemens Energy's management team has confirmed that it is considering launching a cash takeover bid (OPA) for all the shares of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy with the intention of delisting it.

As explained by the company to the body chaired by Rodrigo Buenaventura, "the result of said analysis is still open, no decision has been made and there is no certainty that the operation will materialize."
