The Canary Islands add 1,265 new Covid positives over 60 years of age in the last three days

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported that since the last data update three days ago, the archipelago has added 1,265 new positives in Covid-19 among people over 60 years of age.

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported that since the last data update three days ago, the archipelago has added 1,265 new positives in Covid-19 among people over 60 years of age.

With this data. the accumulated number of cases of coronavirus among this group amounts to 60,182 people in the Canary Islands. Thus, the Cumulative Incidence for this age group at 14 days stands at 790.41 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days at 434.67.

Currently, in the Archipelago there are 232 people admitted with coronavirus, of which 11 are in the ICU and the rest, 221, on the ward. On the other hand, the Canary Islands register a total of eight deaths, four in Tenerife, two in Gran Canaria, one in Lanzarote and one in Fuerteventura.

The deceased persons, aged between 71 and 94 years, had previous pathologies and were hospitalized.
