The Ministry of Education has published in the 'Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana' (https://dogv.gva.es/datos/2022/06/08/pdf/2022_5210.pdf) the call for aid for the Child Bonus for the next academic year 2022-2023 aimed at families who educate their sons and daughters from 0 to 3 years in private nursery schools and in sections 0-1 and 1-2 of municipal nursery schools.
The beneficiary students of the Child Bonus next year will be girls and boys born in 2020, 2021 and 2022 enrolled in private centers of the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, as well as students aged 0-1 and 1-2 years enrolled in Valencian municipal schools for the 2022-2023 academic year.
In the section from 2 to 3 years, the Ministry assumes the entire cost of schooling in nursery schools 0-3 adhered to the Children's Bonus, with which families do not have to pay anything for education, enrollment or for reserving a place. .
The novelty of the next course is that all students aged 2 to 3 enrolled in a private nursery school attached to the Children's Bonus, regardless of family income level, are guaranteed free schooling and the center will enter 280 euros per student and month.
In the rest of the age brackets, from 0 to 1 year old and from 1 to 2 years old, the maximum and minimum aid established for the current course is maintained, ranging from 70 to 200 euros.
The families of students aged 0-3 years enrolled in private centers of the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, and 0-1 and 1-2 years enrolled in municipal nursery schools for the next academic year 2022-2023 must submit the application electronically from Thursday June 9 to Tuesday June 28.
Access to the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat for the telematic presentation of applications, as well as the corresponding instruction manual and all the information on the Child Bonus, will be available on the website of the Department of Education, at the following link: https ://ceice.gva.es/va/web/centros-docentes/ayudas/subsidises/educacion-infantil-primer-ciclo.
In order to process the aid request electronically, a registration code and the student's SIP number are needed. The private center or municipal school will obtain this enrollment code from the Department's computer application at the time of enrolment, and will provide it to the person legally responsible for the student.
Electronic filing will require the applicant to have the electronic identification and signature systems accepted at the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat. Families who do not have the means or sufficient knowledge to be able to work with electronic administration may submit the application in person at the center where their son or daughter is enrolled, together with the required documentation. In the latter case, the deadline for submitting applications will end on Monday, July 4.
Applicants who have already benefited from the Child Bonus in previous courses only need to submit the application. However, in cases where the family situation has changed compared to the previous year, the mandatory documentation must also be presented.
Education will take into account family income as the main criterion for granting aid in the sections from 0 to 1 year and from 1 to 2 years. The amount of aid that corresponds to each family will be determined based on the per capita income of the family unit for the year 2020.
