The Alicante Water Museum will host next Tuesday, May 24, the presentation of the second issue of Dinapsis Digital Paper, a new edition of the digital magazine entitled "City and Innovation". From 12:00 to 13:00, the event will include the participation of the author of this monograph, Esteve Almirall. Professor of the Department of Operations, Innovation and Data Sciences and director of the Center for Innovation in Cities at ESADE, Almirall is a recognized international expert in information technology. The presentation will be completed with the participation of the lawyer and urban planner Pablo Sánchez-Chillón, in a format of dialogue between experts together with Professor Almirall on the role of innovation in the urban challenges of the 21st century.

Aguas de Alicante hosts this event within the framework of its new Strategic Plan for 2022-2027, which was presented last March and is the result of active listening to strategic actors for the company, such as institutions, citizens, associations or businessmen. This new company roadmap includes the opening of the Water Intelligence Center by the end of 2022, a new center associated with the Dinapsis network. Located in the city of Alicante, this center will be integrated, in turn and for the field of water management, within the municipal strategic initiative "Alicante Futura", destined to structure the master lines of the future of the city of Alicante; of the city digitization project, “Alicante Smart City 2.0”; and will be part of the initiatives of the "Alicante 2030 Urban Agenda".
