The 28-year-old man who was attacked at the gates of a nightclub in Cala Major, in Palma, died this Sunday at the Son Espases Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

The victim was sitting on the stairs of the premises last Friday morning when, for unknown reasons, another man kicked him in the head and he was left unconscious. At first, the emergency teams managed to revive him and he was urgently transferred to the hospital.

The homicide group of the National Police has taken charge of the investigation. According to the main hypothesis, the victim was kicked in the neck for no apparent reason. Investigators hope to locate the alleged perpetrator of the attack in the coming days.
