The Bundesliga soccer club won the test match for the Trofeo Bortolli at Italian first division club Atalanta Bergamo 5-3 on penalties on Friday evening. After 90 minutes it was 2:2 (1:1). The Italians have been playing the cup since 1992.
Lucas Alario scored in the 43rd and 48th minutes for the Hessians, who had better nerves from the point. Eintracht goalkeeper Diant Ramaj parried the home side's first attempt, and all five of Frankfurt's shooters scored.
