Last day to file tax returns It's time to start filling it out if you haven’t done so yet. For taxpayers from 35 departments, the deadline is Tuesday, May 31, at 11:59 PM. These are the departments numbered from 20 (Corsica) to 54 (Meurthe-et-Moselle). Simply go to impots.gouv.fr to make a declaration. Four departments are involved in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region: Gironde (33), Landes (44) and Lot-et-Garonne (57)

You could be subject to penalties if you delay. If you fail to fulfill your obligations, the tax rate will increase by 10%. In the event that you fail to file your tax return within 30 days, it will increase by 10%. The increase will be 40% after these 30 days.

Taxpayers from departments 01 (Ain), 19 (Correze), had until May 24, to complete their online procedures. Residents of the departments 55 (Meuse), 976 (Mayotte) and 976 (Mayotte) have until June 8th at 11:59 PM. The affected regions include the Pyrenees-Atlantiques (64), Deux-Sevres (79) and Vienne (86), as well as Haute-Vienne 87.
