Taiwan Diary Part 6: Taiwanese are undeterred by Beijing's threats - but many have contingency plans

We're on the express train traveling from Taipei to Kaohsiung when my translator, Hugo, starts asking me a lot of questions. What do I think of Lithuania? Is it easy to start a business there? Easier than in Germany? Or in Denmark? I'm usually the one peppering him with questions, from his military experience to his night market dining recommendations. He also helps foreign journalists like me. It takes me a little while to understand the background of his questions.
