The Olympiads of the Heart was organized by the elementary school of Arsac on Tuesday, May 24 to support Mecenat cardiology surgery. This association allows children with heart problems, who are not financially secure, to receive treatment.

The 278 students participated in the Olympiads to mobilize their bodies and raised funds for Mecenat's cardiac surgery.

The teachers who received the support of parents and the municipality organized this demonstration which was greatly appreciated and resulted in a tremendous surge of solidarity.

The closing ceremony brought a surprise to all participants at the conclusion of the Olympiads. A host family of patients, accompanied with a three-year old girl, arrived at the closing ceremony to witness the actions of Mecenat's cardiac surgery. Sebastien Grevisse (president of parents of Arsac) presented a check of 7,000 euros to the association as a result of the collection.
