The president of the Consultative Council of Castilla y León, Agustín Sánchez de Vega, has sold in the Cortes the relevance and usefulness of said institution as "guarantor of the rights of citizens" thanks to the "legal control and collaboration with the administrations" that it demonstrates the fact that "95 per cent of the consultants have followed the advice of the Council".

The president of the Consultative Council of Castilla y León, Agustín Sánchez de Vega, has sold in the Cortes the relevance and usefulness of said institution as "guarantor of the rights of citizens" thanks to the "legal control and collaboration with the administrations" that it demonstrates the fact that "95 per cent of the consultants have followed the advice of the Council".

In his speech before the Presidency Commission, Sánchez de Vega has summarized the work of the Council in the last year, with 549 opinions issued, as well as the Administrative Court of Contractual Resources of Castilla y León, defending its "usefulness" for its "consultative function and jurisdiction" that serves as a "guarantee of control and legality" to make "the autonomous mechanism of the Rule of Law in Castilla y León" work.

Sánchez de Vega has also defended that "the lives of citizens beat in the resolutions that the Council addresses" and, thus, has estimated at more than a hundred claims arising from the impact of the Covid pandemic that will reach the Consultative Council of Castilla and León in 2022, reports Ical.
