Petit Patrimoine sioracois, an association dedicated to preserving the heritage of Siorac-en-Perigord, has been creating trails and maintaining the paths for the past several years. This is possible only with the support of passionate and determined volunteers.

PPS has started restoration work on the Foncaude washhouse at the village's entrance. The washhouse was cleaned by good will on a sunny afternoon. This is the first step in this project. Remy Bruneteau is the president of the association. The framework and roof are in bad condition and need urgent repairs.

Siorac has already rehabilitated other washhouses. The next meeting to develop a passage on the future route for Small Hikes (loop of Dordogne), will be held on Thursday, June 2nd at 2 p.m. on the banks the Dordogne, near Campeyral.
