Manslaughter charges have been brought against a man from Reutlingen who is said to have beaten his roommate to death. The 31-year-old injured his victim in the shared apartment in Reutlingen so badly that he later died, as the Tübingen public prosecutor announced on Thursday.

The man and his 53-year-old victim got into an argument, then fists flew. The accused is said to have "accepted" that his victim died as a result of the brutal procedure.

It is said that there was a crash between the two in October 2022. Here, too, there was a physical altercation, in which the 53-year-old is said to have sustained injuries. This incident is also the subject of the indictment.

The act that led to the death occurred on December 29th. Since then, the accused has been in custody.
