With "John Wick: Chapter 4" the next mission is scheduled for March 2023 - and apparently the Hollywood star is targeting another appearance as John Wick. According to reports from the film portals "Variety" and "Deadline.com", Reeves is negotiating a role in the planned "John Wick" offshoot "Ballerina", in which an action heroine sets the tone.

The studio Lionsgate has already chosen Cuban-born Ana de Armas (34, "Blonde", "The Gray Man") for the lead role of the killer who wants to avenge her killed family. According to the "Hollywood Reporter", the Brit Ian McShane (80) is also on board, who in the "Wick" universe mimes the manager of the New York hotel "The Continental", where assassins from all over the world stay. Filming on "Ballerina" directed by Len Wiseman ("Die Hard 4.0") is said to have started recently.
