Report: Trey Lance will continue to practice even though the 49ers have cancelled their remaining offseason work

Kyle Shanahan, 49ers head coach, shortened the team's mandatory minicamp by a day last week. He also excused the players until training camp. However, one important member of the club is expected to stay this week.

Jennifer Lee Chan from NBCSportsBayArea.com reports Lance will be visiting the team's facility for some additional work before taking a rest ahead of camp. Lance will continue his preparation to become the team's starting pitcher in his second season.

Lance will not be the only one at the facility. This week, Lance will not be the only player at the facility.

Deebo Sampson, wide receiver, will not be one of them. He was able to participate in some minicamp work while still pursuing a new contract. The 49ers will need to get Lance and Samuel on the right page for training camp.
