Many Parisians are annoyed by the e-scooters. Last year there were more than 400 accidents with scooters in Paris, three people lost their lives. Private e-scooters, of which around 700,000 were sold last year, should not be affected. The result of the vote is expected on Sunday evening. Without waiting for the result, Transport Minister Clément Beaune has already announced new rules for the use of e-scooters.
